- Energyreporter Ltd is a registered member of the 'HIPcode'. The HIPcode sets out minimum standards that HIP providers have to meet. The HIPcode is owned and maintained by the Association of Home Information Pack Providers (AHIPP) and provides protection for home buyers, sellers, estate agents, conveyancers and mortgage lenders who rely on the information included in a HIP. In accordance with this code we have £2,000,000 professional indemnity insurance cover. You should always ensure that your HIP provider is a registered HIPcode member. It is the industry standard and ensures best practice.
- When you use Energyreporter Ltd as your HIP provider you get all the benefits of a locally based pack provider, i.e. a personal service with no call centres, coupled with our partnership with Pali Ltd who have been established since 1999 and have national coverage in the property search market.
- We understand that time is of the essence and aim to have the pack completed within one week of the energy inspection.
- Once complete you, your estate agent and your solicitor will be sent free paper copies. (Most HIP providers charge at least £10 per copy). You will also be able to view the pack here in the 'View my HIP' section of our website.
- You will be given the option to include a home contents form into your pack. This (non-compulsory) document outlines what fixtures and fitting you intend to leave in the property, and can help to negate problems on the day of completion.
- We can arrange to conduct the energy report on your property at a time that suits you. (This includes late afternoons and weekends).
- Any questions about the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) or about the contents of the pack can be answered by our Liverpool office.
- We regularly check the prices of rival HIP providers to ensure that we remain highly competitive, whilst retaining all our additional features (as detailed above). To view our prices click here
